When contributing a new resource that is to be added to an existing catalogue on the Learning Hub, you will need to have Editor privileges for the catalogue you wish to add to.
Select the Contribute a new resource button (A) on the home page.
Complete the Contribute a resource form as normal. At the end of the form there are options available for Catalogue selection (B). This is only visible to catalogue editors.
If uncertain as to how catalogues work, select More information on catalogues (C) to expand some support text.
Select the drop down menu (D) to see a list of catalogues available for selection and decide where the resource is to be located (E). Independent resources (added by users) are added to the Community contributions catalogue by default where they are available for all users to view.
Once the above has been completed, choose to either Publish, Save for later, or Discard your draft. Selecting Publish will immediately add this resource to the chosen catalogue.
Adding an existing resource to an existing catalogue
To add existing resources to a new or existing catalogue you must be both contributor of the existing resource and Editor of the catalogue you wish to include the resource in.
In the My contributions menu you will find all your contributed resources (separated between the Draft, Published, Unpublished and Action Required tabs) (A).
Select View my contributions (B) to view all your contributed resources.
Select the desired resource’s View button (B) to check the resource, or the Edit button (B) to be taken to the resource’s contribute form, where catalogue selection can be done at the end of the form.
Select the drop-down menu (D) to see a list of catalogues available for selection and decide where the resource is to be located. This process will create a new version of the resource.
Once the above has been completed, choose to either Publish, Save for later, or Discard your draft. Selecting Publish will immediately add this resource to the chosen catalogue (E).
Viewing and changing catalogues as an Editor
My contributions will display all resources that have been added by you, in one screen, as well as offering different views displaying resources that are part of specific catalogues only.
Select the Change catalogue drop down menu (A) to view a complete list of the catalogues available to you, as Editor. Community contributions (B) will always be available to you as the default catalogue for resources not placed into specific catalogues.
Select the catalogue you wish to view form the list and make sure View all resources in this catalogue is selected.
You will now only be viewing the resources currently placed within your chosen catalogue.
