Account security

This article explains the rules about which email addresses you can use to register and how to keep your account secure.

  • All user accounts on the NHS Learning Hub must have an email address that belongs solely to the user and not shared with anyone else. It is preferable if the email address contains your name.
  • Accounts must not be created or updated with a generic email address such as manager@ as this type of email address can be passed on within organisations.
  • Users must not share their account or password with any other user (including their line manager or employer). If access to your account is required, Learning Hub Support will never ask for your password.
  • Accounts accessed, or possibly accessed by more than one user may be deactivated.
  • The above also applies to catalogue owners and reporting administrators.
  • We reserve the right to refuse account creation if it is not possible to ascertain that the email address belongs to the individual whom the account is requested for.
