Retiring community contributions and using catalogues
As part of our ongoing improvements to the Learning Hub, we are retiring the Community Contributions feature. This article provides information on the change and how you can continue to contribute learning resources to the platform.
What is changing?
From Thursday 28 August 2025, the Community Contributions feature on the Learning Hub will be retired. You will no longer be able to upload new resources using this feature.
All future contributions to the Learning Hub must be made through a catalogue.
All existing learning resources contributed through Community Contributions will continue to be available, until those individual learning resources are retired.
Why are we making this change?
While Community Contributions were valuable in the early stages of the Learning Hub, our data shows that a significant proportion of these resources are rarely accessed.
Moving all contributions to catalogues offers a more structured, efficient and user-friendly experience for both contributors and learners.
What about my existing resources?
Any existing resources that were previously uploaded as a Community Contribution will remain accessible on the Learning Hub. We encourage you to take this opportunity to refresh your materials, remove outdated items and move your resources to a catalogue for a more impactful presentation.
What are the benefits of catalogues?
Catalogues provide enhanced functionality, allowing you to:
- group resources into folders and subfolders
- share curated collections of resources with specific audiences
- manage content more easily in one place
- view engagement data to understand launch trends
- create a brand identity using a catalogue logo and banner
- restrict the catalogue if access needs to be managed
How do I get started with a catalogue?
Creating a catalogue is simple. The Learning Hub support team can provide you with a catalogue request form to complete and return.
If you would like a demonstration of the Learning Hub or help completing the catalogue request form, please contact us.
