Who manages your catalogue

There are different roles associated with a catalogue. An individual may hold one or several of these roles within an individual catalogue(s).


Please note that only Full access users can manage a catalogue. 


Owner

The catalogue owner is the key organisational contact for a catalogue, responsible for strategic decisions around content, branding and roles. Catalogue owners may be standalone or they may also hold the additional role(s) of administrator/editor.


Editor

Catalogue editors can:

  • Add resources to a visible or hidden catalogue
  • Edit resources that they have added in a visible or hidden catalogue
  • Move resources in a visible or hidden catalogue

 

Administrator (admin)

Catalogue administrators can:

  • Add resources to a visible or hidden catalogue
  • Edit all resources in a  visible or hidden catalogue
  • Move resources in a visible or hidden catalogue
  • Create and edit the folder structure of a visible catalogue
  • Approve access requests to a restricted catalogue (when visible)
    If you have a restricted catalogue please ensure access requests are checked and approved/rejected regularly, and as promptly as possible
  • Invite users to a restricted catalogue (when visible) 
  • Remove user access to a restricted catalogue (when visible) 


Reporter

Catalogue reporters have access to the Tableau dashboard for their catalogue. Tableau access will be requested for you when your catalogue is created.
